Total Viable Sampling
The Total Viable Counts are an indication of general potability and are valuable to identify presence of unhygienic water conditions that may cause illness and may indicate unacceptable operational practices or deterioration of water quality with time or during different times of the year.
It is important to review TVC water analysis results to determine trends in addition to isolated results which may identify specific local hygiene issues.
